NOVEMBER MOTORSPORT

By 12 December 2019October 18th, 2021No Comments

We escape to Oz and NZ for the winter, not just because of the weather, there’s also some cracking racing to be had Down Under! And what a month its been for me, lots of racing and lots of personal bests. Here’s what we got up to in November….

GIRL POWER

We’ve been fans of the fast Kiwi racer Avalon Biddle for many years and have decided to help with her battle against the lads.

Avalon had a storming ride in the Australian Superbike series final-round
after starting last on the grid after her bike caught fire in practice!
She will be battling it out with our other supported rider Toby Summers in the Supersport class during the NZ ‘Suzuki Series’. With top riders from all over the world the series starts at Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park (Taupo), Manfeild Park and the Cemetery Circuit on Boxing Day.

V8 FINALE

The awesome Aussie V8’s boomed around the Newcastle 500 and we got to check out the final of this all action series. It was cool to hear these big Ford Mustang V8 motors singing around the city streets and watch Cameron Waters in his Monster Energy Tickford Racing machine.

Looking forward to 2020 already!

HOLD ON!

Took a ride in my Coxy Capri and experienced a six second quarter mile… reaching over 200 mph! Smashing my personal best, definitely for me a massive highlight of this month.

SUPPORT THE SPORT…

We’re excited to be backing another very fast New Zealand racer; Damo Rees as he joins fellow fast Kiwi Shane Richardson in the Astro JJR Racing team in the mighty British Superbike Championship for 2020.

The team will be competing in the red hot Superstock 1000 class on the fire breathing new BMW S1000RR.

So we crammed it all in! If you like petrolhead stuff, follow us at Carl Cox Motorsport
